Renting a place
For a specific house or apartment, use the enquiry form on its listing. It reaches the owner directly, and the owner answers you. In San Miguel, a first message gets a more useful reply when it covers:
- your exact dates, and whether they include Christmas and New Year, which owners often price separately from the rest of a winter month;
- whether you will have a car, which decides whether Los Frailes or La Lejona is practical;
- for December or January, what heating the house has, room by room;
- what the rent includes: gas, water, internet, a cleaner or gardener, a fraccionamiento's maintenance fee.
Listing a property
Use list your property. Send the colonia, the price and whether it is per night, week or month, the currency you quote in, the minimum stay and a few photos. It helps to say whether the price changes between November and April, whether the place is also let for wedding weekends, and how the house stores water. We write the listing from that, check the facts and publish it.
